ABSTRACT

Erors are OK, or are they?

Gillie Cunningham will explore the role that errors play in language learning and communication. Based on her experience as a teacher and teacher trainer she will raise questions concerning attitudes towards mistakes from both a teacher’s and a learner’s perspective. She will also consider the efficacy of various correction techniques.
